A bank of literature-based units, added to over time with each unit taking one children’s literature book and spending three to five weeks inside it, one concept per week, with activities written at two levels and a student-made book at the end of each week.
This is not a reading program, and not a vocabulary program. It sits alongside our decoding and phonics instruction and does a different job — building the ideas and meanings that comprehension will eventually rest on.
Choose a single unit for your child or classroom, or take the full package that includes every work. Each purchase is a donation that directly supports SEA’s unique program.
Read a sample excerpt of one of the units available, a curriculum for clinicians, educators and parents — developed by Michele Ricamato, M.A. CCC-Speech and Language Pathologist.
